Caitlyn Kenner Posing Nude For Sports Illustrated

Caitlyn Jenner may be 66, but and it doesn’t look like age is slowing her down.  Us Weekly is reporting that Caitlyn Jenner is set to pose for the summer cover of Sports Illustrated wearing “nothing but an American flag and her Olympic gold medal.”

The cover will commemorate the 40th anniversary of her gold medal win at the 1976 Montreal Olympic games.

This is the first time Jenner will pose with her medal since her transition. “She’s excited about that,” a source told Us Weekly.

“I never wanted my kids to feel like they had to have a gold medal in order to be considered a success. I didn’t want them to constantly compare their own achievements to my time in the Olympics, so I haven’t displayed my medal,” Jenner wrote in a 2015 blog post.

Responses to the news about Caitlyn Jenner posing nude, has been mixed to say the least:

And these are by far some of the kindest out there. Others called the cover a “disgrace to women everywhere…”

While others have threatened to boycott the magazine…

Now I don’t know how you feel about Caitlyn Jenner being on the cover of Sports Illustrated, but I really don’t care.  I’m not a subscriber to Sports Illustrated and I’m sure most of the people complaining, aren’t Sports Illustrated subscribers either.  No one complains about the swimsuit issue or when ESPN does there nude athlete issue.

But I am sure this is exactly what Sports Illustrated wants.  The more people talk about the issue, the more issues they will probably sell, and the more they can charge advertisers for ad space.  So this is definitely a win for Sports Illustrated.
